Here are my 365 photos for this week :) The photos are totally unedited, so they will hopefully look better on a layout - however, it's the memory that counts, isn't it?

Our au-pair left on August 2, after having been with us for over 10 months. The girls miss her - and last Wednesday they got a card from her. It was very exciting for them and they have already "written" back and included a lot of drawings :) This is the card they got from their Zozo.

It rained cats and dogs almost the entire week last week. Everything was really wet - and this is our balcony, dripping with puddles everywhere!!

These are Lovisa's glasses. She got them last November and has hardly ever worn them. She hates them with a passion. And she hates going to the ophthalmologist even more because it means drops in her eyes. I have to physically hold her down kicking and screaming for the drops to go into her eyes. It's NOT fun!!! Last Friday we had an ophthalmologist appointment and she was dreading it - but was being quite heroic. She sat down in the big chair and the doctor started examining her eyes, asking questions about clarity of this versus clarity of that. Questions that Lovisa answered really decisively and well. Then the doctor tells her that she's been really good and she doesn't need glasses anymore!!! I've never seen a happier little girl than Lovisa was when she ran out of the doctor's office, no eyedrops and no glasses LOL

Saturday we had a rally cross competition close to our home so we went to take a look. It was fun to watch, but it RAINED a lot!!! Matthildur, my younger one, couldn't stand the rain and decided to wait in the car - but Lovisa stuck it out, wet and cold, and LOVED the speed and noise of the rally cars LOL

Sunday we saw the sun again after a long break :) The weather was so good that the girls played out on the balcony and Matthildur took her "baby" out for a stroll LOL Our balcony is huge so there is plenty of space for a nice little walk with the dolls!!
September 7When I was reading to the girls Monday night before bed, my husband called. He went out on sea Saturday night so the girls were really starting to miss him. They both got to talk to him and this is Lovisa Lin, my phone loving 6,5 year old LOL She gets comfy when she's on the phone - like she's planning on chatting for a very long time!!! I wonder how she'll be when she really hits teenagehood!!!
