Count to 10!

Around the middle of August, we were on our way to Reykjavik, when we encountered a long line of cars on the road.  A truck had had an accident and no one could get through.  After a while waiting in line, a cop turned everyone around and told us to take a back road around.  It was 30 km on a 1,5 car wide gravel road - and it has probably NEVER seen so much traffic LOL  We were not in a hurry, so we just enjoyed the scenic detour - but the jeep in front of us was rather impatient, so it was rather comical watching his frustration with the slow going traffic :)
I used Dawn Inskip's amazing new Happy Street Collection as well as Dawn's Finishing Touches Templates Vol.10.

Not Happy!

Photos from a vacation with friends in March 2007.  My older daughter and her friends had a little argument and us parents stood by and watched them try to resolve their differences.  They were only 4 years old - and did a relatively good job, however, they did not succeed as well as they thought they should, as seems apparent from their faces when they decided enough was enough :)
I used Studio Rosey Posey's fab new Big Heart and Layered Templates.

THE School Bag

My younger daughter started first grade in August.  She had no jitters or qualms about starting school.
What she had looked most forward to was getting a new schoolbag, and she knew exactly what bag she wanted!  It had to be a soccer bag - and she was SO happy when we found her dream bag :)
I did this for the September Girl vs Scrap challenge over at One Story Down.
I used River Rose's fabulous new School Days Bundle and Tell Your Story Templates ~ both at One Story Down.
