Love...

My nephew holding Matthildur Inga. It was around the middle of July 2006, he was 2,5 years old and she was 3 weeks old. He got to hold her and took his role as a caretaker very seriously - and then all of a sudden he bent down and gave her a gentle little kiss on the forehead. I'm just glad I caught the moment on cameraI used Dawn Inskip's fabulous new kit, Crush, available at Scrapbook Graphics...I love this kit - gorgeous colors, and Dawn's doodled figures are amazing!!!

January 2011...

...since I stuck to P365 in 2010, I decided to do it again in 2011. Those pages are just so much fun to have, I couldn't imagine not having them for 2011.

However, I decided to do them a little differently this year, and not be obsessive about daily photos. If I didn't take a photo one day, it's ok. I just journal a little bit about that day instead. Since some days, I take a lot of photos while on others I might not take even one, so I decided on an option where I could sometimes include more than one photo from each day, as well as journal a little bit about world events of the month as well as our lives.

I am using Biograffiti's Project 365 2011 templates for the "photo-a-day" double layout for each month...And then I'm using Biograffiti's My Life & Story templates to include the remaining photos and the current affairs journaling for the month. Molly has an amazing variety within that template album, so I can include any number of double pages I choose to, depending on the number of photos that month. It gives me the option to include a page or two with photos from trips or special events. Anyways, here are my January pages...I totally love this - and I love including the full page photos :) I'm planning on having all of these pages printed in a book for us, and then I'll take a selection of the My Live & Story pages and print them in a yearly photobook for the grandparents.

I scrapped the January pages, using a kit by Taylormade Designs (collab with FeiFei's Stuff) and some elements from Weeds & Wildflowers.

Cooking

Lovisa Lin at the end of January 2009. If I were to do any cooking at that time, she had to be included, so she ended up sitting on the countertop stirring the pots :) It was fun! Challenging sometime, but fun :)I used Dawn Inskip's fab new kit, Tinker and the matching Tinker AlphaI also used Studio Basic's Potpotpourri templates, available @ MScraps and @ Digiscrappers Brasil

This is Me

On January 9 2004, we saw a photo of this beautiful girl for the first time :) On January 9 2011, I took this photo of my amazing, now 8 year old, daughter!I used Hazel Olive's Her Journey kit and Queen of Hearts' Acid Rain template.

Creativity...

We had a lot of snow at the end of November 2009 - it came with rather nasty weather, but Lovisa Lin (6 at the time) insisted on going out and play. Next thing I knew, she had carved this fun snow house into one of the huge snow piles which had accumulated in our yard :) She never runs out of ideas of things to do in the snow.I did this for Studio Bethany's Playday @ Scrapbook Graphics. I used SussieM's North Pole Trip - Ice Land and Studio Bethany's Feelings Wordart ~ both available at Scrapbook Graphics ~

Travelling

My girls in the Minneapolis airport on our trip to the USA in May 2009I used BCD Designs' fabulous new kit, Wanderlust, available at Scrapbook Graphics, and Studio Basic's Basic & Clean III templates, available at Digiscrappers Brasil.
