My younger daughter last New Years Eve, while we were taking down all our Christmas decorations and boxing them. We did it a week earlier than usual because of severely rationed electricity due to a huge storm which went through on December 29 and wrecked havoc with our electricity supplier. It seemed pointless to have everything up for another week if we couldn't keep the lights on :)
