My Boy

My son on a mountain walk last year at the end of March.  He was not yet 3 years old - but so strong and active, that he didn't want any help hiking that moutain :)

We found this statue of a barber and his customer in the middle of the pedestrian streed Qianmen Dajie in Beijing.  My daughters thought they'd try to get a haircut too :)

New Stories

This is from March 1, 2004.  The day my daughter and I saw each other for the first time.  One was happy - the other, not so much.  Now, almost 10 years later, we are both extremely happy about this day :)

Frost

One of the last good weather days in December before the storms from the north hit us - and stayed until early January.  It was an "indoors Christmas" for us :)

Don't Cry Baby!

My son in early November.  He had just fallen on the edge of a table and gotten a huge bump on the forehead, right between the eyes.  The doc said it would heal - which it did, but it hurt.  And it hurt me to see him cry :)

Mommy's Day

My 7 year old daughter and her friend felt that mothers had not enough days where they got presents and got pampered, so they decided that October 8 was a special Mommy's Day.  To celebrate, I got homemade artwork, cuddles, kisses and a handwritten "love letter" :)

Love Winter!

...they do, I don't LOL  We've had unusal amount of snow this winter, and the kids have taken advantage of it whenever the weather is half decent and taken their sleds out for a run :)

Travel Time

Marshmallows

When it's cold and windy outside, we enjoy being inside, lighting a candle - and roasting a marshmallow or two over candle light :)
