Happy Walk

My oldest, my youngest and I took a walk the other day.  It took us through a colony of nesting arctic terns, and they are very aggressive this time of year.  We took some umbrellas with - to protect our heads from their very sharp beaks :)

Walk

Last weekend we went for a walk and ended up on top of a mountain.  My son, who has just turned 3 years old, walked almost all the way up to the top.  He is such a strong kid :)

Best Friend

My daughter (the one with hair all over :) ) and her very best friend, saying goodbye after spending 4 days together in July.  They live over 600 km apart, so they don't see each other too often.  Except on skype :)

Seaside

Day 1 of our camping trip in July.  We woke up to heavy fog, and after about half an hour of driving, we drove into bright sunshine and no wind at all.  Our first stop was at a gasstation LOL and us girls took a little walk along the pier while hubby pumped gas :)

Jellyfish

We went to the beach on Friday and noticed a lot of dead jellyfish floating around - it was slightly weird to see, but certainly peeked my girls' interest and prompted them to read a little bit about those strange but beautiful creatures :)

My daughters and I on the top of a mountain we climbed early yesterday morning.  We were feeling slightly proud of ourselves :)

Relax

My younger daughter enjoying one our beaches back in July.  We don't get much in the way of sunbathing beach weather around here, but we do get lots of beautiful - if slightly chilly - days (just explaining the parka she's wearing at the middle of July).  :)
