Pickleberry Pop is 4...

...and there are Lollybags for a ridiculous price all over PBP!! Dawn Inskip has one, stuffed to the brim with goodies, all for only $3 until August 3 - it's definitely worth every penny...
Here's one of the layouts I made with the goodies inside...This is Matthildur Inga on our visit to The Cowshed Café, by Lake Myvatn in northeast Iceland. While we were waiting for our coffee we got to visit the actual cowshed, and this is the look she got when she realized she was standing next to the cow's "toilet" and that the cow was going on with her private toilet business as if there was no one watching LOL

Enchanted Meadow

One post in July - yeah!!! We've been traveling almost non-stop since the end of June but now our summer vacation is coming to an end. It's almost good that it is LOL I'm getting tired of never being home :)

Anyway, Dawn Inskip just released a fantastic new kit at Pickleberry Pop. It's called Enchanted Meadow and is fabulous!!!Here's my layout with it
Lovisa Lin dancing in the car park by the airport in Reykjavik, while her dad changed a flat tire for her grandma :)

Essentials

Dawn Inskip just released a kit of Essentials and some fabulous Months of Memories...
These are just perfect - and I used them here in combination with a template from Crystal Livesay...This is Lovisa Lin having major fun :)

Mojito :)

Kristin Rice's new kit is called Mojito, and it's fabulously fresh and summery!!!This is Matthildur Inga last summer enjoying the thermal baths in northeast Iceland. She loved it there - and she was totally convinced that she was a full fledged swimmer LOL We were not allowed to help her in any way, and even though she swallowed a gulp or two, she never lost her good temper - or her determination. She did NOT need any help :)

End of school

There is always a celebration at school at the end of every school year. Teachers, staff, students and parents gather together and all the students are called up to the stage to get their grades for the year. End of school celebration was June 3, this year - and this is Lovisa Lin on her way to celebrate :) She did VERY well in school this year - we are extremely proud of her!
I used Kristen Rice's Impressible, available at After Five - and one of Studio Basic Designs' gorgeous templates from her That's the Way I Like It No2 template pack, available at Digiscrappers Brasil and Zig Zag Scrap.

Sick days...

Lovisa Lin doesn't get sick very often. In January 2008, she was 6 years old and got a very bad cold for the first time in her life. She was really sick for almost a week - and it was a difficult time for her, maybe especially because she was experiencing this for the very first time :) In her eyes, getting sick was having a runny nose for a day or two and getting high fever which never lasted more than 4 hours!!!! After that, she would have no fever and be happy as a lark again. But not this time...
I used Kim De Smet's freebie template at OScraps and a (sadly) retired kit from Kim, called Oh My Grungyness.

Heritage

We went to a "live" museum in northern Iceland last summer. It's an old Icelandic farmstead with a sod house which is still furnished as it was in the beginning of last century. The girls, especially Lovisa Lin, loved it and was very curious about everything.
I used the June 5-5-5 collab at After Five Designs - it's a beautiful heritage kit!

Love...

My beautiful Lovisa Lin in April 2009 :)I used a freebie template from Studio Basic Designs and a collab kit from Deca Designs and Designs by Anita called Life's Direction.

Summer Breeze

Dawn Inskip released a new kit just before the weekend, Summer Breeze, and it's such a gorgeous combo of oranges and blues...I used it here...This is Lovisa Lin enjoying the warm thermal natural baths in south east Iceland. They are just an amazing place to be. High up with fantastic views, beautiful blue waters and some say the waters make all skin problems go away, doctors prescribe visits the these thermal baths for their psoriasis patients :) Most of all, they are just a fun place to be on a beautiful sunny day :)

Believe

We went on a little trip a couple weeks ago and had such gorgeous weather that we just enjoyed sitting around looking at the scenery and listening to the birds...
My girls enjoying the peace, weather and beautiful surroundings :)
I used Biograffiti's new mini kit, Believe, and her freebie Creative Juice template...both available at OScraps. It's just really beautiful - and I love the soft color combo!

K Studio's new kit...

I'm guesting for Kristen Rice at After Five Designs this month. She has the most fantastic stuff in her store. On Thursday, she and Kristin Aagard released a new collab called Backyard Adventures - and this is what I did with it :)
These are my girls in July 2008. Lovisa Lin was giving her little sister a ride on her bike - much to their enjoyment LOL

Ad Challenge

There is a fun challenge at Penny Springmann's CT blog. This is the ad to inspire us...
And this is how it inspired me :)
These are my older daughter and her friend on the last Sunday in May. The weather was fantastic and we had just been to the beach - they were now back at the house having a snack and enjoying the sun :)
I used mainly Penny's A Pocketful of Posies - one of my all time favorite Penny kits!!

Goodie Gumdrops

... I love that name :) And it's the name of Dawn Inskip's newest kit, which just hit the Pickleberry Pop store this morning...
I used it to scrap Lovisa's bubble blowing adventures this past weekend :) Blowing bubbles is a summery activity and it evokes such happiness and joy in children (and grown-ups LOL). I love watching my girls blowing bubbles and run around the yard chasing them!Isn't she sweet? And I love all the colors in the kit - they just make it easy to let the joy come across in the layout.

Innocence from Dawn

Dawn Inskip just brought out another stunner of a kit. It's called Innocence...My little one is crazy for ice cream. Well crazy for everything sweet really LOL
And she's not one whose expressions are difficult to read :) So, that's my blond big blue-eyed little daughter in the summer of 2008. She sometimes looks like a little cherub, but looks can be deceiving!!!
Do you see that googly eyed fluffy bird-ball? It's in the kit and I LOVE it - had to use it LOL

Everything is linked - thanks for stopping by and I hope your weekend will be wonderful. Ours is starting out bright and rather warm, although the weather man reported volcanic ash high up in the sky preventing air travel to and from the airports in our south-west corner of Iceland. Mom is flying off to Minneapolis on Tuesday, and as it is today, she might have to take the bus for 5-6 hours to the north where our second (very small) international airport is located. Then she has to take a 2 hour flight to Glasgow and only then can she get on a plane to the States. That's a long detour LOL but that's what nature can do to you!! It's unpredictable and can't be controlled so I guess all we can do is sit back and try and accept the nuisances it sometimes imposes on us :)

And some more :)

I'm a guest for Rubia Padilha of Studio Basic for the months of May and June. She makes the most fantastic templates and I'm a big fan of hers. Here's my first layout for her CTThis is Lovisa Lin dressed up in her little sister's Pocahontas costume - on her way to a costume birthday party last Friday. The weather was amazing and before she left for the party, she was having tons of fun out on the balcony. I got so many happy photos of her :)
So, I have many photos to scrap LOL Here, I used Biograffiti's new mini kit, Enjoy Life - so very aptly named for this photo :)
Everything is linked for full credit :)

Thank you so much for stopping by - and have a wonderful day!!

More new layouts

I'm rather scrap-productive these days :)Here's another one with Kristin's new templates. We try to not eat or snack in the car while we travel, instead we stop and go outside while we eat. When it's raining, we let make the trunk into a shelter and the girls sit inside it - and the love it LOL When the weather is nice we get out our picnic blanket and sit on the grass. It's always fun :)

Here's another one with Dawn's new kit, That's Life, and her Template No4. I used it to scrap my little nephew on his third birthday. He loved his chocolate cake, kept it close by at all times, gave it a good squeeze once in awhile (LOL) and thoroughly enjoyed eating it!! He announced to everyone that this was HIS cake :þ

Matthildur Inga on her first trip to the playground. She had been there before, but always asleep :) This time she was wide awake and got to try out the sandbox, which she sorta kinda liked. For a little while - then she started to cry and didn't see the point of sitting there, so well dressed that she couldn't move LOL
I used Biograffiti's new Creative Juice No10
I love her templates - I've probably said it before LOL

That's Life

Dawn Inskip released a fantastic new kit last Friday. It's called That's Life and it's available exclusively in her Pickleberry Pop store...
I used it to scrap my older daughter's fabulous soccer movements...
Lovisa has never been a fan of soccer, but a week ago she was playing with her sister and my nephew and she was actually pretty good. Hidden qualities :)

Mother Love from Kim De Smet

My girls with their grandmother at the end of April...
They love her to pieces - and it's totally mutual :)

Kristin's new templates

I love Kristin's ScrapDesign's multi-photo templates, she released a couple of new packs this weekend and this is what I did with one of them...These are my girls playing in the garden in the summer of 2008. The layout is linked for full credit :)
