Traditionally, around here, kids dress up on Ash Wednesday and after school, they go "trick or treating". My son normally doesn't like dressing in costumes, and last year, he went as "the world's unhappiest clown" LOL This year, he went as a very happy Lightning McQueen :)
I used Angelclaud ArtRoom's beautiful new Cute as a Bug templates and Lilas Designs' Zest of Craft kit. The wordarts are from Dawn Inskip's A Boy's World {Collection} and About a Boy. Everything is available at Scrapbook Graphics.
My younger daughter in April 2007. She was only 9,5 months old and was coming out of a rather difficult bout of the Chicken Pox - which she tackled with a smile, like everything else she does :)
We have had rather windy weather this winter, which means the wild ocean waves have dug holes in the sand and the grassy dunes at the beach. Going there now means exploring basically new landscapes and has new opportunities when it comes to playing - and digging for treasures :)
I used Dawn Inskip's amazing new Roots {Collection} at Scrapbook Graphics.
My son helping out with baking muffins this weekend :)
I did this for this week's Throwback Thursday challenge at Scrapbook Graphics. I used Digilicious Designs' Memoirs {August} Collection from the @rchive @ttic at Scrapbook Graphics.
This is for one of the birthday challenges at OScraps. I did this for the 8 Years Ago I Was...
challenge...and exactly 8 years ago, I was 6 months pregnant and had
just gotten too big for my jeans and had gone and bought my first and
only pair of pregnancy pants
My younger daugter back in April 2007. She was only 9,5 months old when she got the Chicken Pox. She was covered in it, got really sick, but smiled through the whole thing. She is really amazing :)
I did this for the Throwback Thursday #5: Butterflies at Scrapbook Graphics. I used Captivated Visions' fabulous One Of A Kind collab with Wild Dandelion Designs. It's available in the @ttic at Scrapbook Graphics.
A bit of snow around the middle of December - and my oldest went out on her sled immediately. She loves it - especially if it's accompanied with cold and wind :)
I did this for the current Font Challenge at Scrapbook Graphics. I used Jula Makotinsky's gorgeous Winter Fun {kit} ~ available at Scrapbook Graphics.
A couple of weeks ago, on a Saturday afternoon, my baby was very tired, pulled a paper towel under his cheek and fell asleep under the kitchen table. He was so cute - I had to snap a photo before we moved him to the sofa :)
These are from August 2012. My husband took our girls swimming, but I took our son for a walk. We both enjoyed our time together, exploring the grass, the flowers and the little bugs everywhere - and also sitting down to a picnic and a little 2 year old chat :)
I did this for a special Valentine's Day Challenge
at Scrapbook Graphics. It's not about your SO and not about your kids -
it's about what you love about yourself. And I have kind of always
liked my smile
In June 2010, we took a little trip throught the nesting grounds of the Arctic Tern in the south west part of Iceland. They were very aggressive and their nests were basically right by the road. I love those birds - they are so beautiful :)
My baby, bundled up, waiting at the bus stop for his sister whose soccer practice finishes late, but who doesn't like to walk home alone in the dark. So we all go and wait for her at her stop :)
I did this for the How Was Your Week at Scrapbook Graphics. I used Jen C Designs' One More Day kit and Southern Serenity Designs' Free Bird templates. Both are available at Scrapbook Graphics.
I used Angelclaud ArtRoom's fabulous new Follow Your Vision templates, as well as Natali's gorgeous One Day and One Day Overlays. Everything is available at Scrapbook Graphics.
We haven't had many snow days this winter, and even if there has been snow for a couple of days, it's also been really windy and not possible to play outside much. But the few days we had, my daughters used them well sledding - and loved it :)
We have been searching for the "right" hat for my younger daughter since August. We have already bought two - but she didn't like them. Finally, this past weekend, we were browsing the shops and she found the PERFECT hat - and I kind of liked it too, so now we have finally found the RIGHT hat for her :)
I did this for the new Scraplift Challenge in the Scrapbook Graphics forums. We are lifting Family Love by PLM. I used SuzyQ's amazing Love Connection kit, available at Scrapbook Graphics.
