A Cold Walk

We went on a "freezing and windy" walk one Sunday at the beginning of October.  It was beautiful outside - but it was SO good to come inside again to have some hot chocolate to warm us up again :)

First Frost

I took a long walk around my town on the morning of the first frost - at the beginning of October.  The weather was so bright and still and everything looked so beautiful.  I must have taken about 150 photos of frozen plants, frozen puddles - and the seals waiting for the sun to reach their frozen rocks by the ocean :)  Every morning should be like this!!

Christmas Thoughts

Just me rambling on about how every year, in December, I decide to start my Christmas shopping in January, so that I could have a stressfree advent - and every year, I don't start until late November.

Except this year, I had already gotten a lot done by the end of October - so now I'm looking forward to a funfilled, stressfree advent with my kids :)

These shoes live in my closet and have a very easy life - along with a few other pairs of very good looking high heeled shoes and boots, I bought at the same time, but have never been worn.  I'm very much a hiking-boots kind of person - but I do love a beautiful looking shoe, and I've got to own it, even though I'll never wear it :)

My Beach...

...it's rocky and rugged and after a storm the ocean beats down on it with a vengeance!  Not the typical sunbathing beach - but absolutely gorgeous :)  The photo is taken from my balcony.

Finger Paint

My son trying fingerpaint for the first time.  He had a blast (so did I :) )  He painted the table, his face, his onesie, me...everything within reach LOL  Thankfully, fingerpaint comes off easily :)

Just Turned 5

The Phone

It's not often that a kit inspires me to do a layout - it's usually the photo which takes me somewhere.  This time, however, when unzipping Studio Maya's Post Script Master Collection, I had a need to scrap about the country phones we had when I was growing up and the old phone my grandmother used to have - which looked almost identical to the one in Maya's kit :)
