This is Matthildur Inga again. She was 10 months old and trying to fit a red clown's nose on her little baby nose :) She had lots of fun with it - although it never fit and always came off LOL
While traveling last summer we went to this secluded beach where Lovisa started practicing her handstands. Matthildur was determined to be just as good, and in her mind, she really was just as good, when she put her little butt in the air and lifted one of her legs towards the sky :) She is amazingly cute - but not quite as good as her big sister LOL

We went to this café last summer, where they would serve the kind of cakes and waffles that "grandma" made :) Matthildur Inga, three at the time, wanted a piece of fig cake with heavy frosting and whipped cream. It was a big piece and we were sure she would never finish it. However, she LOVED it and finished almost every bit of it LOL

These are photos of my girls on a ferry to a little island in the north of Iceland last summer. It was early June and it was still a bit cold and windy - even more so on the deck of the moving boat - but they insisted on being outside, watching the ocean, the island getting closer and the snow-capped mountains all around the fjord. It was beautiful -but freezing, so I was happy it only took a short time to cross LOL
My husband took these photos in July 2007. For once, he had the camera and I was entertaining the girls LOL - and I LOVE these photos, they are just so very happy :)

These are photos from our trip to the northeast part of the country last summer. We were visiting friends and made a stop at a cowshed café. Inside we had the most amazing views on the one hand and on the other, there was a glass wall where we could see right into the cowshed. It was so much fun - and just to add to the girls' pleasure, we got to visit the cows, pet them a little and feed them :)

All I can say that what I've seen - it's GORGEOUS!!
I love how it turned out!! It's definitely versatile enough to use on any sport related photos and worked beautifully on photos of my husband playing golf and soccer with our daughter's and nephew in our garden :)
Trausti went to Boston in March and brought the girls back quite a bit of clothes. They were happy as larks and modeled everything for me. This is Matthildur modeling one of the outfits she got :)
They got 3 Easter eggs each and got to open 1 each on Easter Sunday - which they didn't finish off until Wednesday. For a sweet tooth like Matthildur, that's really something!!! My bet was that she would be done with hers before lunch on Sunday LOL
Lovisa after her bath yesterday. She is getting so big and does everything herself. I miss my little baby :) Isn't she just gorgeous?
I found some old finter paints while cleaning up the craft supply boxes and since it's been so long since they've painted at all, I decided I didn't mind the mess and they had lots of fun :)
The pacifier was my younger daughter's best friend for just over 3 years LOL I can't tell you how happy I was when she finally decided that having a paci was childish and not suitable for big three year old children :)

I'm way behind on blogging my 365 photos - but I'm totally upto date on taking them and I always post them on Facebook and I'm also upto date on scrapping my 365 layouts. So I'm rather impressed with myself LOL I'll catch up on photos here by posting my layouts layer today instead of the photos :)
This is Lovisa Lin hunting for Easter eggs on Easter Sunday 2007. She was recovering from Chicken Pox, so she was covered in pink anti-itching cream :) She loved that cream - especially the fact that it was pink LOL
Even though we've had good weather, it's been a bit overcast and we haven't seen much sun. Finally, this afternoon, the sun shone on bright blue skies - making our backyard glacier look especially good :) I took this photo from my balcony, without using any zoom. Admittedly, I cropped it a bit to take away a few houses and a bit of the sky.
The girls were cuddled together in their room after dinner and then all of a sudden called us downstairs to play out a musical they had been rehearsing. Or so they said :) The musical consisted of the them singing the songs from the Sound of Music. It was fun and they love giving these performances, either singing for us or acting out a play :)
The weather was absolutely fantastic, and the light over the fjord was amazing - it was just clear and totally blue, so I had to get a photo :) It didn't hurt that there was a blue fishing boat laying nets right there.
They are the reason for everything I do :) I took the photo on a picnic stop while we were traveling in July 2008. Lovisa spilled chocolate milk all over herself, and since we were on our way home after 2 weeks of traveling and all the clothes were dirty, I dressed her in my woolen sweater while I washed and dried her clothes. Thankfully, it was a warm day and the clothes dried fast LOL
We went to Des Moines Zoo last May on a very hot day and the girls had fun seeing animals they had never seen before :) This, however, is my beautiful niece on that visit. She took a notebook and pen and kept a record of the animals we saw :)
This is pure fantasy :) The photo is taken on a hot, rainy day in a dinasaur park in southern England - and I love Lovisa's bare legs in the shiny pink raincoat and hat :) She also had a huge pink Disney Princess umbrella - but you couldn't see it in the photo.
Lovisa Lin again, this time in July 2008. We were camping in the north of Iceland and caught really nasty weather, cold and wet. We went to take a look at this old sod church and Lovisa couldn't be happier, dressed in her warm rainsuit, splashing away in the rain and puddles. I guess rain is happy weather for some. Not me LOL
This is Lovisa on June 17, 2005. We were traveling in England and she got really, really sick. She threw up and slept the whole day. This child hardly ever gets sick - so I was a bit worried, but she woke up on the 18, feeling fit as a fiddle :)
Lovisa Lin and my niece saying goodbye in May 2009. They met for the first time on May 15, and were instant best friends. When we left 10 days later, it was hard for them to say goodbye.
